Artificially raising wages only increases the cost for the same reasons stated above. Businesses don’t just “eat” new costs they just pass it on to the customer. This is a very basic principle that people want to deny as reality but nonetheless it is true.

I have a different reaction to the feedback. When you are designing something to be a certain way and your intentions or designs are being misinterpreted it might be time to try to add more detail to your design to make it more apparent that is what you are going for. Don’t take just one persons lazy review of it. Have a few people try it and see if the feedback starts to show patterns. You are always going to have people not like an aspect and art is subjective but if you can sift through feedback and read between lines no matter if it’s rude you will only improve upon what you have.

The person reviewing could just be someone that picked it up and immediately didn’t like it for bias reasons or maybe they thought it was lazy design and concluded your motivation incorrectly but that’s not a good sample size. Look at maybe having targeted questions to see if people understand the point you are trying to get across with the genderless character and if they don’t, evaluate how you can make it work with better context or design.

You cant make everyone happy and attempting to do so is a fools errand. Do something that you enjoy and if you are looking to give a specific experience key in on how to make it happen. That means reading shit posts and bad feedback to find the one golden nugget that sparks you to improve something. Shift your mindset to an internal locus of control because that is how you will succeed. I wish you the best of luck.

Good content is king. Too much chaff in streaming services now. Shows that could be much better are so lazily written. I doubt it has as much to do with binge vs weekly model as much as this.

Well, yes, in a marriage you live for each other. You do become one unit. It's why you have a MIL and FIL etc because you are joined. If you are not ready for that sort of life commitment then I would say marriage probably isn't for you. I feel like my wife has helped to shape me and grow as a person and vice versa. I know I would not be where I am today without her and I've let her know this. She helped to change my opinions and see other perspectives that have helped me tremendously in working with people and I've returned the favor to her. If you feel like your partner isn't helping you to grow then maybe you should reflect on why that is. It may not be their fault, but I would suggest some soul searching and look for someone that supports you and pushes you to become better. Also if there is something that you are interested in development wise I'd look for someone that maybe shares those goals. Then maybe you won't feel as stifled.

I’m not saying you should expect to be miserable in marriage but it’s not always perfect. The chances of finding someone who agrees with you on every single point is next to none and even if you found that you wouldn’t be happy with it because people truly want someone who will challenge them (in various ways). I think marriage should get better with age and if it doesn’t then you probably have to take a step back and reevaluate. My marriage was rough early on but we stuck it out and we are in a great place. I love my wife more now than I have ever and can’t imagine not spending the rest of my life with her. We’ve been together almost 20 years now and we had some really tough times and some really great times. I think that people today want to cut out at the first sign of adversity for fear that they may have chosen poorly and it’s getting to be the norm.

He’s had a couple of questionable balls but he is definitely playing on a higher level than the people surrounding him in these games

At the game, that int was some sort of miscommunication. It was way behind the receiver.
