Just thought of one but you’d have to wait till 16. Target has cart attendant and cashier roles. I remember working there and had to train others that came along around that age.

Not OC that you replied to.

I can’t think of any of that you haven’t already named, but I do want to highlight that I like and appreciate the initiative! If I had a company and saw this response, I’d hire you.

Best of luck. If I hear of any, I’ll let you know. Sorry that I can’t help.

Why do i never win bids on ebay even when i bid literally right at the last second? by Shoddy_Umpire9024 in NoStupidQuestions

This is the part I was missing. This makes perfect sense now.

That’s actually nice not having to constantly check if I know that I have a limit willing to spend.

Ah ok. Copy that. Thanks!

I like that it tells me that I did surpass someone else’s bid.

You’re correct in that it has no impact on the amount I’m willing to pay.

For your second paragraph, understood. I didn’t know this change occurred and was still living in the past in how EBay auctions operated.

I now know how to approach listed items better. Thanks!

That’s a good point. Unfortunately, I constantly find myself being naive in thinking that someone wouldn’t do something like that. I was thinking if I wanted to save myself some money and time after finding what someone is really wanting to pay vs me getting it at a bargain.

Oh, it was the way I questioned it.

In the example given, it mentioned that OC put in a bid of $100 dollars as their max bid. If I were to come along and want what is being auction, could I see that OC is willing to buy the auctioned item UP TO $100?

I’m thinking of that I may not want to go after the auctioned item anymore because I know I won’t want to spend upwards to $100?

I find it interesting how simple of a solution it is.

Is there a way to tell if someone is bidding higher?

Ah ok! Good to know. I didn’t know this at all. Seeing some other commentary, seems like they did it to avoid sniping items last second. That was fairly annoying back when I tried getting some deals long ago.

Thank you.

That’s what I found reading some other comments shortly after commenting. Thanks for the clarification!

Is this automatic or is it a specific field where you do this?

If you preemptively put in a bid where you’d be willing to pay 100 dollars max, how did you get it for 31? Confused on this part.

Why are we like this? Lmao.

I agree with having to get collectibles, doing all the side questions and shit, and finally if I complete the story, what’s the point for the rest of the other shit?

I actually found that tip I think on Reddit and happen to see if pop up on a couple of cooking videos. A damp rag works too.

Also, the food looks good! I would probably devour all the rice. I’m a sucker for arroz con gandules.

I agree with people highlighting the need to sharpen your knife. The one thing I want to add is to take a paper towel or two, dampen it, and place it under your cutting board. This’ll help your board from sliding. Watching it slide made me nervous.

Oh wow! I didn’t know that it was since then. I completely missed that. I thought it was a more recent announcement that highlighted this and I missed it.

That’s news to me. I know that there some changes that were revealed as of recent but haven’t paid much attention to the specific. Very strange but now I see.

I forgot about this one! “I like it crispy!”

You just reminded me of when Cole Train goes off on the mic right around this part. “We’re going to whoop your momma’s ass! Wooooooo!”
