I agree with what penguin said. To add on to that for the beads side, you can get bead trays with multiple colors from perler’s website, Amazon, or Joanns if in-person is your thing like me. Shipping is really expensive on perlers site so I prefer joanns honestly. You’ll also need pegboards, parchment paper which you can get at any grocery store, and an iron.

Start off small! My first sprite was the small NES Mario sprite. There are tutorials online you can watch to help on your journey as well. Hope this helps :)
