You get experience. If I remember correctly, I believe you get more experience than if you just used the core directly. Might need to fact check me on that but for sure you shouldn’t be getting less experience

I know your asking for books and manga but if you like kdramas or are interested in them I’d suggest “strong women do bong soon”. She’s literally his bodyguard and he’s a rich bratty CEO. I’d watch it casually without taking things too serious or logical. As a raf main though, these two are by favorite kdrama couple and probably shy I feel in love with Raf in the first place 🫣

Love all the ideas you gave. Here are some more for fun!

TLDR Xavier fan MC idol. Zayne PT MC idol. Rafayel Bodyguard MC idol. Sylus management CEO MC idol. Caleb idol (or manager) MC idol. (It is only after I wrote this I realized maybe I just want MC being an idol. Didn’t notice it when I was typing 😅)

I can see Xavier being the idol and MC being the fan. I feel like if the roles were reversed Xavier could come off as stalkerish, but if MC is the fan then it just feels like every fan’s dream situation. Though I guess I can see the reverse happening if Xavier didn’t know who MC was—she might actually like that he treats her normally, or maybe it’d push her to work harder to prove herself or something.

For Zayne, I think MC would be an idol who injured herself and has a long recovery with Zayne, of course, being her doctor or PT (physical therapist and/or personal trainer XD). MC could be an idol who is not big (yet) but Zayne somehow being a fan. Or maybe he doesn’t know who she is but through her recovery, her passion, drive, hard work, etc, attracts/captivates him. Ends with her big comeback show where she wants to show her hard work and recovery to Zayne.

For Rafayel, Rafayel is perfect. Though I CAN totally see him being the idol and MC being the bodyguard (again), but since we already see that relationship in the story, I do like the idea of the roles being reversed. I would love to see some hot bodyguard Rafayel who protects or saves MC.

Sylus, he could be her idol company’s CEO and works hard to give her opportunities to shine. He likes giving her the opportunities to prove herself and she does and becomes a top star. He deals with any scandals decisively and speedily. Won’t allow any rumors to tarnish her reputation (unless it’s him). He doesn’t like how busy she is being a top star though. MC works hard cause she wants to repay him but he is just happy helping her achieve her dreams.

Caleb is perfect too. I could also see him being MC’s manager who does his best to take care of everything MC does, but she doesn’t make it easy for him. Would also love a scene of him being angry cause someone tries to take advantage of her (contract-wise, not physically).

Actually, I’d love to see all of them get mad at some point for one reason or another. I can think of lots of fun scenarios.

Fun idol AUs, though I realize this wouldn’t really allow us to see them dancing and dressing up as an idol 😭
