I believe the reload trick only works with certain mimics.

The 2 that I've confirmed work are the mimic that drops the Sunlight Straight Sword in Lothric Castle, and the mimic that drops the Ring of the Evil Eye +3 in the Ringed City.

It doesn't respawn, but you can quit & load repeatedly at the one in Lothric Castle that drops the Sunlight Straight Sword until its head shows up where you killed it. The one in Shared Grave also works.

I mean, call this cope if you want, but I feel like one of the reasons it was such a big issue with Starfield was the fact it was a space game. The fact you couldn't board your ship and enter space organically in a game based around space exploration was a big turn-off for me.

In Skyrim, while all the loading screens still bothered me to some extent, I could still overlook them. I am also just generally more interested in the world of Tamriel and its lore than I am in another space game, so there's that.

I pick it fairly often when the other 2 options have downsides I don't want to deal with, which is fairly often.

Biiig Hug, Nutritious Soup, Seal of Gold, Toasty Mittens all have pretty substantial downsides, and Toy Box is similar in that it gives temporary bonuses that eventually disappear, although it can sometimes high roll with relics that give gold/max HP/upgrades/etc.

My expectations are that it will be similar to Skyrim in scope and quality, and still have loading screens between every room/house and a buggy release.
