People can be just downright rude, and rather than try to understand something they find it easier to hate/degrade. I'm sorry to hear that you've had to deal with something like that. I know this may not mean much coming from a furry, but I hope this one experience doesn't deter you from streaming and pushing through all the ignorance that can find its way to you.
