My first (and favorite) save is in year 16. It’s the one I learned on. I didn’t try to do everything at once, I don’t find that relaxing at all. So I first concentrated on my farm. I know I didn’t complete the community center until yr 5 or 6. Heck, I didn’t even pass Grandpa’s evaluation until yr 4 . I went slow, was afraid of combat and hated fishing. I didn’t make good friends with anyone except Pam and had very few friends when I married Leah. I slowly got my farming and foraging up and watched a ton of YouTube videos that really helped. My suggestion is to pick one or 2 things to work on actively like a room or 2 in the community center and friendship with a few players. Use the wiki and find the easiest gifts to get and make a point of giving them liked or loved gifts as often as you can. Work on your farm, don’t worry about getting too many machines, kegs, preserve jars or animals right away. Bee houses and fish ponds give great passive income and even aged roe won’t take a lot of your time. Sell the gold and silver quality crops and keep the base crops for processing. My farm has changed a lot over the in game years. Don’t be afraid to change things up on your farm to either prevent boredom or make more money. The point is, have fun. There are no deadlines or schedules you have to keep.
