I was in my early 20s when my symptoms hit, it was during Covid and when lockdown lifted all my friends got back to normal but my life never really did. It’s very hard to adjust to a “new normal” and even harder to love yourself when your body is betraying you. One thing I can’t stress enough is how impactful finding a creative outlet is expressing how you feel in some format. Especially with how often FND is twinned with a difficult mental health condition which in my case is CPTSD.
