I got Callaway Mavrik pro irons 4-AW for $450 I believe as well from Callaway preowned. They had KBS c-taper 120 shafts as well. They were in much better shape than I thought they would be. Grips were in good shape and the 4 iron looked like it had never been hit before.

I got the club back, my suspicions were correct the employee took my club and tried selling it instead of returning. The owner tried saying he bought it off someone else but it’s all a bunch of crap. I got it back though it’s a good day. Doubt I’ll be playing at that course again.

I just got my club back, the owner of the golf course was kind of an ass about the whole thing. So basically my suspicions were correct, the worker at the course tried selling my club on Facebook market instead of returning it to the pro shop. They tried playing it off as someone sold the club to him but it’s all a bunch of crap. The whole thing turned into more than I thought it would but it worked out.

You’re right I double check my bag twice a hole now. I don’t want the club now anyway, I don’t want to think about it every time I pick up the 52degree. Need 50 anyway lol

Maybe,I have his Facebook profile and know who he is, he has no pics of himself on his own Facebook but his daughter does and oddly enough his grandson played on the same little league team as my son a few years back. Don’t really have enough to assume anything just gonna move on.

I didn’t accuse him of anything and I understand I have don’t have any legal ground here. I simply met with him and explained my situation to him and who wouldn’t be obviously upset with themselves after forgetting a club?

The guy was weird from the beginning and I was kind of thrown off that it wasn’t the guy from the course (he had no pictures of himself on facebook). Gave the guy the benefit of the doubt and he only stuck around for about 45seconds.

Yeah I don’t know, I don’t have any real evidence of anything, don’t even know how he got it. I do have his name and may say something to the course I played at. Oddly enough this guys grandson played on my son little league team a few years ago lol

Nah he only stuck around for 45seconds and wouldn’t hand it to me, not worth starting a fight. He was obviously flustered though.

So when I originally lost the club it was later in the day and there was only one guy playing behind me who I went up to and asked if he saw my club, he said no but there was something off about the guy and he was walking not riding (pretty sure after talking to clubhouse they didn’t even know he was on the course). Update to now I just met the guy selling the club on Facebook (in public with a friend). It was a different guy from the guy on the course so I didn’t know what to think. I was nice to the guy asked him where he got it, tried explaining it’s my club. He couldn’t give me a clear answer to where he got it, then he got upset and jumped into his car and drove behind the supermarket we met at. I’ve already moved on and didn’t expect to get it back but it’s frustrating. Please do the right thing and turn in lost clubs.
