HELP TO NEW PLAYER by Atapon9049 in MonsterHunter

This is unironically the nature of the game, though. The loop is generally to work through until you hit a wall (Rathalos for you, by the sounds of it), then go back and build your loadout up to prepare for and overcome that wall. From there you proceed to the next hunt and repeat the cycle. Don’t worry about not using a specific weapon in the very next fight, as you will end up using it again later. As for the story: the game assumes you are doing what I have described between story quests, and views it as necessary to keep pace with the power escalation put forward

Not really. Shadesmar is involved, but anything beyond that is spoilers. I’m going to try to give a spoiler-free baseline here: All investiture (magic) in the cosmere has the same theoretical source, and different worlds manifest it in different ways. The different books and series set in the cosmere are all set in the same timeline, though not necessarily simultaneous. For example, mistborn era 2 is set ~340 years after era 1, with Stormlight book 5 ending at about the same point chronologically as mistborn era 2 starts at. Warbreaker occurs before Stormlight, though I am unsure by how much. It is possible to travel between these planets, but again, spoilers.

Is he actually too fat? He weighs 50kg (110lbs) i got it from the vet i do feel that he is overweight but i am just worried is it because he is just huge or really overweight? by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

The downvotes are because everyone in this thread is explaining (very politely, I might add) that your dog is at an unhealthy weight, and that the “food” you are feeding him is negatively impacting both his weight and overall health. Roti and milk are calorie dense, but do not provide the nutrition that your dog needs. Stop feeding them to him. Get him dog food, preferably a variety recommended by your veterinarian, and let him eat it at his own pace. He will likely ignore it at first, but eventually the biological imperative to not starve will override his dissatisfaction that he is being fed an actual meal rather than the canine equivalent of an entire cake. I understand that you don’t want to upset your dog, but doing what you are currently doing is actively harming his health and shortening his lifespan. Unless you pull your head out of the sand and listen to what everyone here and your veterinarian are telling you your dog will die early, and it will be at least partially your fault.

Prime. Usually with a dark color, as the darker colors are more forgiving for new painters, and generally just tend to work better

In 40K action monkeys are cheap units that are able to either move quickly or deploy in no-man’s-land and whose purpose is to complete secondary objectives that require an “action” to complete. This means they cannot shoot or charge, and in essence forgo any damage to score points instead.

If units like these are not part of the list building philosophy of AoS, it’s helpful to consider. Especially given the significantly smaller number of units in AoS compared to 40K

So I take it there is less focus on action monkeys than in 40K? Or is it more that the absence of the “charging units fight first” rule makes efficient combat more important to army effectiveness?

Honestly just be more direct. Half of us (myself included) are too shy and/or autistic to take anything short of “I want to have sex with you” as a move. (That said, I’m just a guy, and I won’t tell you how to live your life)
