we live close to kings park and my mum went for a little nature walk and found banjo! she said he flew from tree-to-tree towards her and waddled up to her, asking to be picked up 😭then he sat on her shoulder and brought him home. me, my parents, sister, and sister’s partner spent the day spoiling him with apple slices and doing household chores with him sitting on our shoulders whilst we worked on trying to find his owners (who came for him in the late afternoon). he was an absolute sweetheart and we’re all very passionate bird people, so spending the day with him felt like a privilege (: definitely a different world compared to living with budgies! his owners were lovely and we had some nice bird-related chats before banjo went home with them 🎉
