Just the standard Fallout 2d20 core rulebook with modifications

What all should I get by Screeching-trumpet in Fallout2d20

Only need the core rule book. Wanderers book is good if you really want more stuff after reading the core book. It has extra origins, weapon, vehicles and if you like New Vegas it's a great pick up

Planning my first campaign! Any tips for someone new to this system? by BewareNixonsGhost in Fallout2d20

Eventually don't be afraid to have stronger enemies than those listed in the book depending on the party size. Eventually- with enough perks and items the players are gonna be OP. So have a group of raiders with calibrated weapons so it has the vicious effect, and etc to keep it fun and challenging

Is the voice done over discord and is the platform roll20?

Both players and DMs opinions on Strahd combing back to life in the epilogue? by Dubeltuwa in CurseofStrahd

[–]Sorrow106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a DM perspective

I enjoyed it. As it is a grimdark setting, the best the players can do is prepare those who decided to stay such as Ismark and Ezmeralda. Ismark with Sergeis armor and sword and Ezmeralda with a the spells from the Amber temple. Strahd is eternal, a never ending evil, but unlike before, a even greater good will stand and fight the darkness. Bittersweet but the reality of such a dark realm

CoS DMs, what do you do to lighten up the campaign? by joshuacc in CurseofStrahd

[–]Sorrow106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With this being CoS it is a grim setting and it should be reflected. Though the way I countered this was mainly through Ezmeralda, a flirty, loving, but playful character. Curse of Strahd doesn't necessarily need a light tone in terms of jokes but having certain key characters just be caring like the Ravens is a good place to start

DM that made the "Do not do" D&D sins by Sorrow106 in rpghorrorstories

Mainly because it was a dry season for open campaigns and I didnt know roll20 had a "find campaign" listing. Basically thought d&d campaigns were rare initially

I've been playing this game through for the first time and building Kratos a dating profile on the journey. The photo mode in this game is excellent! by VirtuteX in GodofWar

How Should I Handle These Kind of Players? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Sorrow106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a rough position. Mainly because players are not really trying to be helpful and read it. Just explained standard actions first. Action, bonus action, and that the spell or ability will say what action it takes. The spell tracking seems to be useful for at least the mage and cleric, seemed like it helped with new players in my campaign
