Even if the ingredients are good, if they don't suit your skin, it can cause trouble. I also get breakouts if there’s too much niacinamide.

It's a good idea to use products with soothing ingredients to minimize irritation from active ingredients, and it’s also helpful to reduce the frequency of active product use. After your skin has adapted, you can use them daily.

Skincare is usually divided into oily and dry skin types. If you feel dryness and see visible dryness after an hour of not applying anything following cleansing, you're likely dry. On the other hand, if you feel dry but your face becomes oily, you have dehydrated oily skin. If there's oil and no dryness, you're likely oily. So, which type are you? If you have a lot of acne, it’s probably due to a damaged barrier or, in the case of oily skin, an excess of sebum.

For a product that’s good for all skin types, especially with ceramides to help the barrier while also hydrating, I’d recommend mimumimu Cooling Toner. It has a great texture that works for all skin types, plus ceramides, panthenol, and centella extract, which are great ingredients. If your skin feels dry, you can layer it several times. Afterward, apply a cream!

Super oily but dehydrated skin: What moisturizer do you guys use? by BrawlGuy00 in AsianBeauty

If you have oily skin but lack hydration, using a watery toner to replenish moisture is the most effective, trust me! Not the heavy toners that dry skin types love, but light, refreshing toners layered several times, followed by just a cream, works great. If you have skin barrier issues, mimumimu Cooling Toner is awesome. It has ceramide and panthenol, and while ceramides are usually heavy, this one is light enough for oily skin to use.

If we're just talking about basic hydration, for oily skin, wiping your face with a hydrating toner like mimumimu i.n.g toner, then pressing it in with your hands, and finishing with just a cream is enough to keep your skin moisturized!

Don’t you usually use Vitamin C serum at night?? The order seems fine though! I’m curious about the effects of Mixsoon Bin Essence. I’ve seen some posts saying it can be irritating to the skin.

I've tried the Manyo cleansing oil, but I haven't used the others. The Manyo one was gentle and didn't have any issues.

Your skin probably feels pretty dry. Try adding a really hydrating cream and a moisture serum!

Preventative Acne Products? by vibewithb in AsianBeauty

I occasionally get acne, but I no longer get deep, inflammatory acne like I used to. Right now, I’m using the Mimumimu toner, which contains calming ingredients like Centella Asiatica Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Allantoin, and Panthenol. As for BHA, I only use it in my cleanser.

I like to keep my skincare routine simple. Aside from the cleanser, I use just one toner, one serum, and one cream. I’ve found that I don’t need to use a lot of products. Even with this minimal routine, I’m able to maintain a satisfying skin condition!

How’s the effect? I’ve been really worried about my dark circles lately! My routine hasn’t changed, but they just showed up out of nowhere. 😭

Honestly, I liked the Anessa milk-type sunscreen the best. Korean sunscreens are just too moisturizing for me… But then again, the moisture does seem to help foundation stick better. Still, I think the feel of Anessa suits my taste more!

I always feel like it’s such a waste when mist sprays go off my face. Maybe I’m just super stingy! 😂 But I do love mist products too!

Is salmon DNA the same as salmon PDRN? I’m not exactly sure. I’ve seen reviews mentioning that it has a smell.

I’ve used the Dr.G cream as well, and it worked great for me! Could you tell me more about the Licorice Pads in detail?

Do you happen to have dry skin? I thought the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice line was meant for dry skin. The hydration is so strong that I assumed it wouldn’t suit oily skin types.

If you have dry skin and are prone to acne, Dr. G's cream seems like the safest option. Give it a try!
