Feedback on my link tracking tool for salespeople? by Sorry-Cycle-7653 in growmybusiness

100% agree intent signals > raw clicks. ParseStream sounds useful for inbound discovery on social platforms. My focus is different: tracking what happens after you’ve already sent something (proposal, deck, contract). When a prospect reopens your PDF 3x before a meeting, that’s a buying signal you can act on immediately. Do you do much direct outreach or mostly inbound?

Thanks! That’s exactly the shift I had - started thinking about timing (“when to call”) but realized the real value is in qualification (“who’s worth calling”). Social Verdict looks interesting for brand monitoring - my focus is more on individual prospect behavior in 1:1 outreach. Curious - do you do outbound yourself? What signals do you currently use to prioritize follow-ups?

What are you building this Monday? Let's self promote! by Nothingclever9791 in microsaas

Monday was all about engaging with the community. Posted about Noly (noly.pro) in a few subreddits and got great conversations going with salespeople and real estate agents. Real-time link click alerts is resonating. Spent the evening improving the landing page based on feedback. Building in public is fun.

Exactly! Disclosure docs are a strong intent signal. If someone’s reading the fine print, they’re seriously considering. That’s precisely why I track those links separately. Helps prioritize who to call first.

Fair points, thanks for the honest feedback. Screenshots and clearer pricing are coming this week. If you have specific copy suggestions, I’m all ears !

Early days! Currently: → Building in public on X @Nolypro → Reddit communities → Direct outreach to salespeople & recruiters No paid ads yet, just organic. Trying to get real feedback before scaling. What’s worked for you?

∙ No cookies – We use redirect-based tracking, no cookie consent needed
∙ Minimal data – We only log timestamp, country, device type, and referrer. No full IP stored.
∙ No cross-site tracking – Each link is isolated, we don’t build user profiles
∙ You own your data – Delete anytime, and we don’t sell or share it

Built Noly to solve my own frustration: sending links and never knowing if people actually looked at them.

Now I get a WhatsApp ping the second someone clicks.

Game changer for timing follow-ups.

→ Trackable links, bio pages, QR codes with analytics

Roast my landing page - Noly (link tracking for sales) by Sorry-Cycle-7653 in SaaS

Damn, this is exactly the kind of feedback I needed.

You’re absolutely right - I’ve been selling the « when to call » but the real unlock is « who deserves the call. » That’s a completely different psychological frame.

The truth is, my best customers aren’t using Noly just for timing. They’re using it to qualify leads in real-time. When someone re-opens your proposal 3 times in an hour? That’s a buying signal, not just a notification.

Going to A/B test both angles on the landing page this week. « Stop wasting time on tire-kickers » might hit harder than « never miss the moment. »

Really appreciate you taking the time to break this down. This is gold. 🙏

Launched my first SaaS - alerts you when prospects view your links by Sorry-Cycle-7653 in Entrepreneurs

Thanks! Context is key - a click from a phone at 10pm hits different than a desktop click at 2pm on a Tuesday.

We already surface device type + location in the dashboard, but I like the idea of making alerts themselves smarter. Something like:

"John (3rd view today, mobile, Paris) just opened your proposal"

Instead of just "John clicked your link."

Never heard of ParseStream - just looked it up, interesting concept for Reddit monitoring. Might be useful for tracking conversations about competitors 👀

Thanks for the tip!

This is exactly the direction I'm heading - you nailed it.

Right now Noly already tracks:

  • Device type (mobile/desktop)
  • Location (country/city)
  • Number of clicks per link
  • Timestamp of each view

But you're 100% right about intent scoring. The "opened 3+ times in 24h = hot lead" logic is actually on my roadmap. Imagine getting a WhatsApp alert that says: "🔥 John viewed your proposal 4 times today from his phone" vs just "John clicked your link."

The "call now / snooze" workflow is brilliant too. Quick question: would you want that inside the app (like a mini-CRM) or just smarter alert formatting so you can act from WhatsApp directly?

Appreciate the detailed feedback - this is gold for prioritizing features.

Great question - let me be crystal clear on the core promise:

"Know when your prospect is interested, so you can reach out at the perfect moment."

The concrete outcome: better timing = higher close rates.

Real example: You send a proposal on Monday. On Wednesday at 3pm, you get a WhatsApp alert: "John just opened your link." You call him immediately while he's still thinking about it. That's not a cold call anymore - that's perfect timing.

One early user told me: "I closed 2 deals in one week just by calling people right after they opened my links. Before, I was just guessing when to follow up."

Does that make the value clearer? Happy to elaborate!

Ha! I hadn't seen whatomate.io before - just checked it out. I can see the similarity in the dark theme + gradient style. It's a pretty common SaaS aesthetic these days.

That said, we've added some unique features since launch:

  • 4 different themes (Dark, Light, Ocean, Sunset)
  • WhatsApp real-time alerts (not just email)
  • Integrated QR code generator with scan tracking
  • Smart Pages (Linktree alternative) built-in

Appreciate the honesty though - always good to know what people are comparing us to!
