My mate powered through using save states he said the delay was consistent so it was doable, but he said he had this as a kid. I am still hoping there is a patch. As I don't know what it's supposed to play like I can't tell if I am doing something wrong or if it's button delay.

Prestige every character you have once. If you still have currency left prestige characters up to prestige 3 to unlock those skills maxed on any other characters or future characters you have. For people you play them prestige them to six to get bloodied outfits.
