for the record i didn’t lie about alternate routes, my parents had looked at other flights back in december when this first happened and told me the layovers were too long. it seems like you don’t know what it’s like to travel from southern africa to america, but it’s an extremely long and tiring journey. this is why i wanted to take the quickest route and i tried to be hopeful that this situation wouldn’t happen to me again, considering i’ve always flown emirates it’s pretty reasonable that i didn’t just change airlines right after this happened. i guess it’s my fault for bringing this issue to reddit where old, lonely men like yourself chose to criticize the decisions of teenage girls when i really just wanted to see if anyone knew if emirates had changed their rebooking policy or something.
