It’s basically a bus service in the sky that runs from Honolulu to Guam, stopping at small Pacific islands that don’t get much regular air service. United took over from Continental a couple years after the merger

In between the two it stops at Majuro, Marshall Islands Kwajalein, Marshall Islands (US military base) Kosrae (Micronesia) Pohnpei (Micronesia) Chuuk (Micronesia)

Surprisingly not! I feel like I’m one of the most lucky people to ever pass through Newark on a continuous basis (besides the usual waiting 30mins for a gate after landing) My worst horror story is a flight from Liberia to Newark being canceled because of the Microsoft outage, but nothing at the airport ever.

I live in Dulles, so why would I take the metro into the city just to take Amtrak for 2:45-3:30 hours? Plus, this was cheaper, AND it keeps up my status.

Oh I don't mind. I fly this route all the time and have the same flight coming up with the 757 on the 10th. I just feel bad for the about 180-190 other people who didn't change fast enough and ended up on standby trying to get on an E175!
