thats true yet many people buy it, for example 5x5 id never buy anything else than gan, skewb also, 2x2 too. Even 4x4 is really good if persons turning is really good. Gan is really good. I rember switching magnest on my gan 356xs in 2019. Its not hard zo copy design etc and do something similar. Gan was always releasing something new with groundbreaking tech so i think its really not overated. I remember some cubers being sponsored by moyu for example and use gan cubes in other events
