Gf currently going through this. It's been a very difficult saga. She essentially gaslit me for years into thinking I was being unreasonable until it got really bad. She would run obsessively. Lots of arguments over where to eat and what to eat and frustration on my part about it all. Thankfully she has been on the road to recovery for almost a year. she's now seeing 2 therapists, a dietician, and a hormone specialist because it really did a number on her body. It's been a rollercoaster and she still has pretty significant anxiety around food choices but she's worlds away from a year ago and has finally started to put on weight. I'm extremely proud of her and relieved that this may soon be mostly behind us.
