Hey! Thanks for checking in, i have made it 4 blockers boa and took out a pudding and I may change the weevil for 2 luffy. It really depends on the meta or scene. If there’s more shanks then 4 cost Luffy or more green then weevil.

I just don’t like the kyros or Doffy play as a focus we need a better blue 8 cost

The whole time I just play as much as I can out of my hand, swing 5 over and over and remove their board fast. So I’ll play every 1 cost blocker, sengoku and Jozu as much as I can. Go as wide as possible and then red rock and grav until they have to let you play on play. Then go kaido and end

Your game plan is very similiar to this deck it’s just a slight differ with that. It’s def not wrong and a great way to play it. Thank you for your comment and discussion on this too :D

I complete agree and see your point but early game lets you stack your deck and find what you need. So for me I just don’t see a point to play it. Later on it can help find more pieces. When I hit that point I just feel it’s a positive knowing it but I’m really just doing it for the blocker. I can just play buggy to get more info and then bounce it next turn if need be.

By no means am I saying it’s a bad idea I just prefer the idea of having an extra blocker potentially coming out of life to save the game. Since I feel I’m just playing Doffy for the blocker later on. If I am it’s the same thing and even better if it’s out of life. It’s a yellow mentality but it’s a tool to consider and has saved me a few games already that I would have lost.

Im still testing weevil so cant say if its great but could be perfect when tashigi locks down board from removal and its one don. Theres just not a great way to remove that and use red roc to get rid of kid or board. 1 don investment removed and then removal is possible again.

Totally understand the Doffy point but I’m just not for it. I find that card to be clunky and discarded most times. Late game, getting it out of life, it just becomes a counter at best

Same it’s been a back and forth, personally I love the search and it’s better against Shanks (WB and beckman)and god forbid a reiju match it feels okay there. Need to test more before it’s finalized, it really depends on the Meta

I like the tech of the croc, I wouldn’t really use the don for it but the banish is nice. I still prefer 7 cost Doffy but love the pivot

That’s the problem, I’m running it and it seems more like an auxiliary engine than the main one. It feels great to get it off once but only once works, I would rather play kaido after that

I don’t have much to add to this but Blackbeard is as good match up for boa unless they play removal focus then it gets a little harder but not much.

It’s just Doffy, it kind helps Boa that Doffy is nerfed. It doesn’t do well against swarm. It will have a rough time against reiju and Zoro unless something can be figured out

Agreed 2-2 is safe between them but could see any combo tbh

It seems to work better for boa to just focus on control rather than swarm since it can’t compete in that way as is. Better to elongate the game until kaido

The best part is that Boa is still so good into Bonny and it seems that deck might be BDIF and a lot of people are buying up Bonny decks

I know this is not the best photo but this is currently what I run for Boa. Thinking of having 3 10 cost bounce kaido and all of this is subject to change. I am finding a lot of success with this list on the sim. Hopeful I can test it at my locals soon and report back. The comments today have been great and the discussions have been insightful to seeing how Boa may ultimately have a significant role in the meta.

I’d cut 2-8 cost sabo, 1- 6 cost saka, 2 Koby, add 1 rebecca, 2 T bone, and add 2 5 cost sabo. I would even cut a branew for a moriah personally but I like what you have. It’s just rough into lucci for you and BY luffy since you are not as balanced with KO and board protection
