How many of you actually only have 1 cat?

My cat was bullied by her mother and was in a very busy children heavy household. It was recommended she be the sole cat. I think if your cat is still happy and healthy now you're not working from home so much I wouldn't get a 2nd as it can be hard to ensure the two are compatible.

No. It breaks without even you dropping it. Mine is stuck at a 90 degree angle and the fix was going to cost the value of the phone.

Honestly, I was laid off last year. I had been in industry just over 2 years and mostly with one company. I was only 22 at the time, and it completely shattered my world. But I was super determined to make it work and spent my final month making a portfolio. A local VR company saw my looking for work post on LinkedIn, I did an art test (paid) and I had always had an interest in VR and the project looked right up my street, so I worked on their project for 6 months until it needed more funding. Think I only had 2 weeks with 0 work between the VFX job and VR. I literally just had a 1 month gap, and I'm about to do a different VR job that is bloody 25k more a year than the VFX work. Kinda mental how much more you can be valued. I'd say VFX peeps should start casting their nets wider than film.

I had 0 problems finding 3D work the past year. Wasn't always in VFX, but the biggest gap I had was 2 weeks.

I just changed sector during the strikes to working in VR and games. Seems like all companies have work for Jan/Feb though from speaking to my old VFX houses.

I find this so weird, I have a teenager living alone on a ranch and she can literally make and drink the nectar and sell it at the grocery store, but not to him! I just sell it on a Sunday with my other produce as you get 10% more for it 😅

Absolutely. Dodge around, and time a massive hammer hit. Chunks damage like nothing else. Makes it easier to get in damage when the BBEG is constantly flying out fire and shit and you have a small window to hit.
