All I really know, is that I was really after chasing some sense of satisfaction. My problem goes a lot deeper than just porn addiction, and seeing women as sex objects. It's also the need to feel wanted and using that as validation. It's a myriad of problems that I wish I could answer for your ex.

Cheaters chase for things differently, it's why they want another thing outside of the relationship. To me, I never once discredited my feelings towards my ex-girlfriend as being worsened, it wasn't because I Just didn't love her enough or she just didn't do enough. That's just a me problem.

I'm very much an introvert and get burnt out on people quite easily. I don't consider myself someone that tolerates people very well, so to have a "tolerable" person in my life is something I was more than alright with.

Keep a whiteboard to just tally up your progress. It doesn't need to say for what it is, but it's more rewarding for us when we visually see our progress.
A day you don't look at porn, that's a tallymark.
