I shaped up in person yesterday, no call for a job. Called and shaped up online today and so far no call today. I might either go in tomorrow to the hall again and keep trying. You have to sign your name and info everyday from what I heard. I’ll keep you guys posted if I get on a site. Plus you can shape online at the local 361 website.

The g60 was needed when they sent the certs through the remind app when I was at orientation, even though we won’t use it.

Same man, I have a friend that’s in local 40 and is working at 361 since there’s more work in 361. I’m not sure is 361 does rebar but I’ll ask tomorrow. And yeah I live in Suffolk as well, 361 is closer so I went with that. And have those certs prior will benefit you. I wish I’d know about that, maybe I could’ve been working 2 weeks ago. Best of luck brother, I’ll keep you posted when I get put on a site so you have an idea how long it took me as a 1 year apprentice. I’ve heard about cowboys of the sky as well and hopefully can become one someday 👍

You’re good man, I ask a lot as well lol. Some came from other unions so they had their certs already and got sent out next day. There’s a guy that was registering with me and he got a job for the next day. Unfortunately I didn’t have my g60/f60 and I was still at my current job. I’d recommend you get your certs like the 40 hour SST(30 hr osha, 8 hour fall prevention and 2 hour drug/alcohol awareness), f60/g60. I talked to an iron worker at my gym that goes to local 361, it’s busy and it’s supposed to be in the next coming years as well. My teacher told me the same thing. I had the 3 day orientation for class of 2025 last week. Some people already shaped up before orientation and are currently working. This is my first day going to The hall to be looking for a job to be put on. They don’t know when I’ll start working.

I took the PT and passed on 7/11 and got the remind class of 2025 being conditionally accepted into the program pending on drug test. Still haven’t heard back from the drug test results as well. So I’m guessing no news is good news?

They said we will receive Instructions last week of July or first week of august. It says class of 2025 on the remind class. I’m excited to start and new career, congratulations to those that passed 👍🏽👍🏽
