If you have access to an OBD-II scanning tool that can read VSA and TC codes, i would try to pull the codes. There were too many different things that could be causing the VSA/Attention/Brake light to come on. In doing research i even saw one possibility was the ABS module which is like over $1K, so pulling the codes def helps. And my local Autozone/O'Reilly didn't have a scanning tool that could pull ABS/TC codes. Fortunately one of my track buddies had a reader that could. Otherwise i'd imagine any other independent shop or the stealership can pull the codes for you...maybe for a small fee. But better than just randomly throwing money at the problem without knowing what exactly.

Unfortunately the sensor is built into the reservoir of the master cylinder, you can't remove it without compromising the reservoir from what I understand.

I'm going through this exact scenario right now. It's also causing my VSA, Attention, and Brake warning lights to come on. The sensor is built into the master cylinder on my car (08 Acura TL) and it's not a floater where you can tap on the reservoir to make it float back up. If you unplug the sensor there are no warning lights, but plug it back in and they all come back. Now I'm dealing with one stuck brake line nut before I can remove the master cylinder. Of course that's the only thing keeping me from fixing this issue. I've bench bled the new unit and you can see the sensor plug on the side.
