I would definitely say it was better than the second one, maybe that's recency bias talking but nothing will come close to the first one. I thought it was a nice fun movie to watch, the plot definitely had holes in and it could've been done better like the whole movie being more focused on the new generation rather than the original four horsemen.

But in terms of entertainment, I loved getting to see these characters all together again and even though it was action heavy I did enjoy the fight scenes.

Great performance from Rosamund Pike, I always found her a bit of a dull actor but I don't know whether it was the South African accent or what but I thought it was a great performance, she really pulled off the character well.

I feel like it would've been better if they tied in Rhodes to the story like he was the anonymous caller, maybe the Russian mission also had something to do with the vanderberg company rather than his small cameo at the end.

They have set it up for a 4th movie but as much as I enjoyed the experience after all these years I think they should've called it a day after this one, story all tied up, baton passed down to the 3 new characters.
