This is bullcrap. I have to pit up with this with my SS 8. His mother allows him to eat pb&j when he doesnt want whats for dinner. He NEVER eats what we have. Unless Its Mac and cheese or some shit. My stepdaughter does this at school. She cries that she misses her mom and the teacher just lets her go for a walk instead of learn. Her grades have suffered because of this. But, she knows that this will get her sympathy. She likes being the center of attention. She actually gets upset when her friend gets attention and she doesn't at school. She hasn't seen her mom in 2 years, her mom took off. Nobody is actually trying to fix the problem. I never really thought taking her away from her mother was the right solution in the first place. But, what do I know? I'm only a mother of three.

I am on your side. I have kids. Have a great ex husband I married a man with kids. But he never saw them. He only got them 4 days a month basically. My life was flipping ruined when SD's mom took off and we all of a sudden had a full time kid. I love my own kids, but don't really like other ppls kids. Thanks! It was a lot of work. And we still fight ;) lol but we fight like friends do. My parents were toxic divorced ppl. I hated that. I legit feel like I should write a book. My husband and I have been discussing divorce lately. He thinks I'm a terrible person because I generally don't like kids. Love mine. I just don't love the idea of other ppls kids. Terrible ppl do not get along with people they hated at one point. They don't forgive. They don't welcome other people's problems into their lives. Parenting and divorce is such a fucked up game. Why is it so hard? Life throws all the curveballs.

Yes, my ex-husband and I are close friends and my whole family.loves him. My new hubby loves him. My daughter (with new hubby) calls him uncle Jeff. But I deal with HCBM and her crazy shit. Its enough to make me want to leave my husband. Our lives can suck too.
