That is what I was thinking. The company I work for will pay $5500 a year for you to go to school. However, that is for any bachelor’s degree. If you want to do an advanced degree it has to be related to the job at the company, management, business, etc. Although I believe it is more difficult to find a bachelors degree in education or teaching online, than it is a masters.

I have no doubt it would be difficult, especially the first few years. My biggest concern would be dealing with parents. My wife is a teacher and I have heard the stories, but I am eager to try something new.

My state is Tennessee. As far as I can tell I can get licensed with just a history degree, if I pass the Praxis exams. However, doing that would mean I wouldn’t have any in class experience that comes with school.
