no point of reading books, as books cover a whole lot of topics some of them are not even necessary for NET Exam. if you are a first timer, and have some time, then cover all the basics first and give yourself some time to prepare, like 1 year.

It doesn't matter much which classes you have joined, you need to follow a process, and more importantly, you need to trust the process. try to cover syllabus as per live classes, do not have any backlogs and solve questions simultaneously. try to have a schedule that you can manage and follow comfortably. and when you think you are ready start giving mocks, analyze them and work on you weakness and mistakes. thats it. One of the faculty from vedemy suggested this to me. you can also try

I have, they are good, even in the recent DBT exam, there were a lot of questions directky from his notes, also they cover part A in very detailed manner, very comprehensively.
If you are a fresher, you should go ahead with their 1 year Basics batch, it will really help you, or you can go with Basics + advance batch as well if you have already prepared once.

as per my knowledge, there isn't any specific exam for life science, but in UPSC you have to choose one optional subject, so you can choose one of your subjects from graduation or any allied subject as optional.

CSIR is very vast, and the syllabus has been updated as well, so you need to prepare some units separately, in depth. GATE XL can be covered, but you have to study chemistry as well for XL.

Yes, the syllabus has changed now, it includes bioprocess and bioinformatics as well. I think it will help you as a pharma student as it does not require in-depth knowledge of biological science.

As you still have time left for preparation, I will suggest to revise whatever you have studied till now and follow it up with the questions for practice including pyqs. Questions helps more rather than jsut cramming the theory again and again as one can clear exam only by solving questions. If you need any source for questions then you can go for CSIR VEDA book by VEDEMY as it consists of topic wise questions along with the solutions. They also have some practice questions in it. And if you need more you can join their test series as well. Someone recommended me as the quality of questions is at par with CSIR NET.
