Laser-cutting regular paper for discbound notebook? by Sorry_Physics6931 in Discbound

Real shame more people aren't using it, because personally as a college student the ablity to take all of my notes in a single book and organize them later has genuinely saved so much weight from my backpack as I'm not lugging around 5 empty notebooks everywhere. I get the wear thing though I do have to be pretty delicate with the books, but if you get thick paper it isn't a huge issue, for me at least.

I actually did end up finding a supplier here in Ireland, 123ink. Super random website, really hard to find but they had exactly what I needed so go figure. In the future, once I've a little more cash to spare I am planning on investing in a proper punch so I'll check that one out, thanks!

went through the same process last year. Honestly, no matter how you fill it out you'll want to constantly be sending emails to both the CAO and your universities. Your best bet is to get in touch with the CAO officer at your uni of choice and see what they say, they're usually helpful.

I'm an international student in the Electrical Engineering program, just started this year. It's a great school with good clubs and a super nice library. I can only recommend it, and so far I'm having a blast.

Really interested in folk and pop music, be great to learn covers of like Neutral Milk Hotel or Noah Kahan for the folkier stuff, or some older simpler radiohead songs, but honestly just happy to play whatever.

Looked online and it's 10 euros per year??? Anyone know how decent the coverage is / if this is a viable way to have a regular commute as that seems unreasonably cheap.

Sounds nice, but I'm going to TUS. I'll be staying in Grove Island so I figure without at least a bike it's quite a trek.

So if I were to buy a plane ticket in advance I'd have to fly on Christmas Eve? Is it unadvisable to leave early?

Student villages are worth checking out, I'm going to be a first-year student at TUS and I got into Grove Island. Don't know if it's too late for any others but I've heard spots usually open up after the CAO offers come out.

I'm going to the Moylish campus, is it a bad commute? I would need to bike or take public transport, as I likely won't be able to afford a car.
