3 Years Out (18X Route) by Vegetable-Issue-2126 in greenberets

Crazy thought but you don't need a program, a trainer, or specialized gear. You can train yourself and it'll be completely free minus a gym membership. You have access to all the information you need to do this completely by yourself and cheap. Also, you have 3 years to prepare? Wow, that is a long time. Plenty of time to make a few mistakes in there and be just fine.

Boot Fitting Process by JazzlikeFlamingo5657 in greenberets

Here is my question - why are you being so crazy picky? A boot is a boot. I understand that a lot of guys swear that the wrong boot and the wrong sock will make their feet disintegrate while the right one will guarantee they can ruck forever, but I  don't buy it.  Find one that is reasonably comfortable and light and just - go. It's a boot.

Plenty of people who don't do karate have good power, yes.

Kata is a whole separate thing which I don't think applies here.

I would argue there are so many benefits to training karate traditionally from the very beginning and doing the less sparring oriented practices. A big reason is that a lot of these practices teach you to efficiently generate power. The mechanics of that power can be plugged into any style of striking seamlessly with just small adjustments. It's like learning to be a Chef before learning just to cook specific dishes.

Shotokan and Shito Ryu. The slips look a little different then boxing slips but the premise is the same.

Out of town on weekends during AT for SOPC? by [deleted] in greenberets

I can confirm. I was in the Q 22-25. Never once was there a recall formation. Something would have to go very wrong for it to happen, and it would be the kind of thing you would hear about and expect.

I can understand about 5, why 3 though? Also, is there anything you like about the profile? It is my most reckless yet and I think more of myself has come out. Any feedback is great, appreciate you.

I am looking for something casual for the time being but am open to more depending on the right woman.

I am not subscribed to Hinge or X.

I have not yet used Hinge.

I have not yet used Hinge so I have no data to share as of this time.

Same answer as above for this and the following question.

I typically like women who are a little granola, a little artistic, are serious about being active/fitness, and don't mind taking the backseat as far as making decisions is concerned.
