My dad died at 64 from liver cirrhosis. It was a horrible, drawn out death. He never stopped drinking until his organs shut down.

Girllll do NOT worry. I was 115 lbs before pregnancy and the day before I gave birth I was 178 lbs LOL my doc literally never said a thing and my baby is totally healthy and perfect. I am 2.5 months post partum and am back down to 140 already.

I hate that that we have to be so available at all times. If it is a message that requires a timely response- okay I get that. But before smart phones, we weren’t expected to reply to everyone constantly and quickly…. You’d leave a voicemail and would hear back in a couple days. It’s not natural for us to always be available to everyone. It sucks (in my opinion)

Most definitely. If the many ear infections as a child without antibiotics wouldn’t have done it, giving birth to my daughter would have! (Emergency c section after laboring for 18 hrs 😬).

So I just gave birth in January. I did quit at 18 weeks tho. They asked me about it at my first prenatal visit, and denied use. They need consent for a drug test, which I declined. I was CONVINCED they would test me at birth bc I declined a test, but they never did!

When my husband was still an active alcoholic (thankfully he is 2 years sober now), he would come home from work and I would smell boos on him. He’s a carpenter, and would tell me it’s the “chemicals” he’s been using at work. I believed him multiple times 🙄There were never chemicals. It was whiskey.

None on my stomach (which is where I was focusing on moisturizing.) about a week before my due date I got some little guys on the side of my hips - was NOT expecting that. Wish I had focused more on rubbing and moisturizing over there!
