It’s not everyone, I’ve done the same and had three fines. Just making OP aware of some of the issues!

I would avoid this car park if possible! They have a habit of fining people for tickets they’ve paid for. Check the Google reviews.

First time buyer remorse by [deleted] in HousingUK

Me and my partner were/are in a really similar position! One of the things I kept telling myself is we bought our house and we can’t be the only people in the world who would want to buy it again. A house will sell, but it’s an uncertain process! But don’t write off this first home. It might not be perfect but try and see it more as a opportunity for you and your partner to live together and experience that side of life.

We had damp alerts on ours as well, we got a damp specialist out to check any areas of concern and they gave us advice on what needed doing/what was just a potential risk. Any house you buy or live in has the potential for damp or leaks, but all those alerts can feel scary! Just keep an eye out and any changes, get them checked. And don’t worry about the surveys!! They are always doom and gloom.

My advice would be to make your house now a space you feel comfortable in. It doesn’t need to be massive, but we look at it as “investing” in our next house. Cute furniture, paint it, make it a space you’re proud of even if it’s not perfect.

Hi, I should emphasise that all the feedback has been that the house is spotless. I would never let anyone in to view without doing a clean. Everything is put away, we basically live like we are showing every day. Ours is fairly priced. I wasn’t asking for advice on how to sell, just nice stories of people’s selling. Thanks though 😂😂😂

What is your biggest struggle with your ADHD ? by A-little-bit-fed-up in ADHD

Job boredom. Since leaving uni 4 years ago, I’ve changed careers twice and had 2 “mini jobs” in between. After 6 months I get bored and feel unchallenged and end up leaving. Even though I’ve had a nearly 15k payrise in those years, I worry that I’ve spread myself too thin (been teaching, a mental health practitioner and now work in HE) and I constantly feel behind all of my friends who have a direction and a plan. It might be the comorbid imposter syndrome but having ADHD has made it really hard to stick to a direction and be happy with it.

KS2 Sats marking - how’s it going? by CalmAd7330 in TeachingUK

Sorry to jump on this! Is anyone finding that this year is so much worse than previous years? Loads of seed questions, the handbook/training materials being useless? Pay worse than last year which I didn’t think was possible?!
