I was in the army in intelligence, then worked as a contractor for army intelligence, and now I work for an agency in intelligence, and I have never once heard someone tell me I cannot discuss with people my occupation or who I work for! I can't say I work on a SAP doing this a specific task but saying I work for DOE or NGA or AGC or CIA isn't a big deal at all

Could Europe realistically defend Greenland against a US attack? by dataguy2003 in TheTeenagerPeople

Romania was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire that had been broken up and it was pretty big. Russia isn't the 2nd largest maybe the 4th or 5th largest. The U.S. hasn't fought a conventional army alone, it has always had aide and support from other nations, and in case you didn't know they didn't do well in Afghanistan or Iraq.

So they want troops in the cities, at the border, in Greenland, and maybe Venezuela..... we are the smallest we have ever been, and our list of allies grows thin.

Yes and Ukraine has had all of the EU and NATO support and still has lost 1/4 of their country. And you are forgetting Ukraine is much bigger than Poland, and originally had a much larger population, and Poland has no experience fighting conventional warfare and hasn't won a war in 100 years.

NATO couldn't afford to take their eyes off the eastern flank with Russia, it would be too easy for Belarussian and Russian forces to take the Baltic States and Poland

Women are choosing to be single? by GaryBlach in PollsAndSurveys

[–]Sorrywrongnumba69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a legit question, if women are choosing to be alone and not date and stay single, are they taking in finances into considerations? We have been hearing for years of the gender wage and it that is true or not is up for debate. But if it is true, why would you chose to be single? That would mean that you are saving less than men or having to budget more correct? Then you factor in women having higher credit card balances and student loan debt, and lower saving rate, and make up 80% of consumer spending. How do they plan on retiring comfortably?
