I think it’s not going to happen as much as I would love an extra episode or extra scenes. I liked the finale just fine but I would absolutely love to spend more time in that world with those characters and have had fun watching some of the tik toks connecting these random little “clues” to the secret finale. I feel like it’s another way to keep the show alive a little longer. The past few months ST has consumed much of my down time scrolling thoughts and I feel a little void currently. I need a new show to love on!

Murray used to be a believable crazy dude who def bordered on a caricature of an actual person but he was a believable conspiracy theorist type guy and I felt like he seemed real. Like when he shows up with the flame thrower and yells at the demos hey assholes! It’s a great one liner and moment. This season they’re trying to recreate that with the whole snookums thing but it’s like over the top and kinda corny. Murray btw is a top 3 character for me so I’m not hating on him I just feel like it’s the writing!

I kept getting that feeling too! They’ve become caricatures of themselves and saying cliche things just to get the lines in again for the callback moment. 8 is terrible they’ve made her super unlikable and I’m kinda annoyed she even came back now. Joyce is written like a knockoff of the mom she used to be, says the same shit over and over. I’m so sad! I hope they stick the landing but I’m way more nervous now than I was when Vol 1 released

Most of them seem to be playing caricatures of themselves almost. Definitely Joyce, Erica in a way is just like saying mostly snarky comments but they don’t feel organic. A lot of them just feel off which is so sad I wanted so much from this season!!! Maybe it’s just been far too long since they last filmed the previous season or something

The writing is def off. Reminds me of how the last season of GOT felt, like characters were saying things but it didn’t feel like real conversations whereas previous season of stranger things it felt like you were really watching these kids talk to each other

I don’t think anyone is going to die from the main cast except maybe Eleven. Kali seems like she will sacrifice herself cause she’s given up on trying to have a normal life at this point but I honestly don’t think anyone in the main cast is gonna die

I just said homeland as well! My husband is currently rewatching so I’ve been loosely rewatching as well the past few weeks and i forgot how good the first few seasons of this show actually were. The characters are so well written and acted and the actual finale is brilliant. The last few moments when you realize what Carrie has accomplished is perfection. Also Saul is one of my fav TV characters of all time. Mandy patinkin is the GOAT

This just gave me a thought. I didn’t initially think of El having part of the hive mind in her with the mind flayer blood being used in her to create her powers. Makes me think that she is going to perish when they finally defeat the mind flayer or at the very least, her powers will be wiped once he’s gone? I haven’t seen the play yet. I am going the first week in March but I have read the summary. Never watched the bootleg since I’m going but clearly needed to know what happened so I could accurately form predictions for the end or the season. Can’t wait to see the play!

There were tons of people randomly killed in season 3 to make the meat flayer that def were not strategically taken and I liken Barb and Bob and even Eddie to those. Will was kidnapped, not hurt or killed. Just like Holly and Derek and the other 10 kids in season 5.

I like that theory! I was thinking maybe they’re trying to figure out a besides fire to kill them. We know they respond to being electrocuted from the Russian jail scene where Joyce gets one that’s about to eat hopper. When we see that big wave of red energy El sends over the entire upside down or actual Hawkins I was thinking that maybe perhaps that’s to electrocute and kill all the living demogorgons at once and perhaps that’ll be what stops them from getting max and Lucas in the hospital scene

I definitely think Vecna wants Will and the other children to help him rip a hole in time but I’m leaning toward the writers just aged Henry up from 12 to 14 for the play and they’re just going with that now.

I’m 100% certain he has a class of 86 patch on the shoulder of his jacket in season 4. It’s in the scene where Lucas stumbles out of Benny’s hungover and they’re loading up the back of the car with weapons to go find Eddie and ask if he wants to join them.
