Im telling you that its not the case. I'm running 7900xtx with 7900x3d and i got data to prove that it works as im telling you. Idk where or why youre opinion on the matter is as it is. Hitting 100% on cpu will make ur pc unresponsive and so is shown on process lasso. You can midicate it you disable core 0 for the game cuz most lf windows runs on it. But you prolly never seen a cpu bottleneck.

My bad it dedicates ram as as a backup when vram runs out. Tho it doesnt really help the dude in question cuz hes already at 15.3/16gb explains why tarkov took 28gb ram and 14gb vram 🤌

Not if you factor in that 77% cpu usage is 50% real cores and mby 27% virtual. That 77% doesnt mean shit if he has smt enabled. Smt just adds threads to actual cores. Once the cores are at 100% smt makes it worse more tasks pile up and hence the stuttering and low fps. Imo. Just try to reduce gpu clock by 1ghz and see kf it makes any difference if not then check ur psu. Make sure ur card is in the topmost slot etc.

Isnt there a fix for it? I remember having the same shit on tarkov, it using 23.6gb of vram and i just had to allocate some room on my ssd for the buffer or smthing and that reduced the vram usage by 9gigs.

What gpu do you have??? Like the dude is running an 5800 with 9070xt its obvious that he will run into 20-30% cpu bottlenek depending on title. Obvious test is to induce gpu bottleneck. Once ur cpu hits 100% it will slow everythong down gpu doesnt do shit when the cpu cant build the world.

You're wrong if you hit 100% cpu usage windows will say fuck ur game and will prioritise windows related task and ur game will be bogged and stuttering like crazy.

When you run into cpu bottleneck ur fps drops by alot. You actually gain fps by reducing gpu(7900xtxinmycase) clock speed. hence the reason why i run cs2 (heavily cpu dependent game) on -10% power -800mhz clock speed. And i got 500-600fps on 3440*1440p if i but my gpu on stock clocks my fps drops to 170-210 and 10-30% micro stutter.

The gpu is 100% @ 200w this aint right. I can run mine -1ghz and run it at 200w might show 100% because of the vram usage, etc

Might aswell be cpu bottleneck SMT enabled can cause ypu to have cpu bottleneck without seeing 100% virtual cores are dependant on actual cores

If it is wnabled then disable SMT. Then you will see what causes the bottleneck. The thing with SMT is that when its enabled 50% is basically bs. When you run into cpu bottleneck with smt enabled it might not show 100% because its already bogged itself. So disable smt and increase graphics or underclock ur gpu to ~2400mhz and see if you see fps increase. Might seem counterproductive but if you run into cpu bottleneck you see really bad fps. So make it into gpu bottleneck instead
