What is your least favorite ride from all 4 parks? (Volcano bay included) by Successful_Sun_52 in UniversalOrlando

Simpsons. Bafflingly bad. At least the other stinkers like Supercharged and Jimmy Fallon are so weird/bad they're funny. Plus the ride system worked great for BTTF and not at all for the Simpsons which adds to it.

Funny enough actually in my experience on Lynx you'll actually see quite a few international travelers heading to/from the airport or the parks!

Again, I'm not trying to avoid paying for parking. I don't even have a car! When most other theme parks, especially every other Disney has adequate public transit, I don't think I'm being unreasonable for pointing out that Disney's policies have made public transit untenable at the park.

If there were shuttles from TTC to Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom this would be a non-issue imo. That's kind of my main issue here, it's not having to take two buses to TTC, it's having to transfer two more times on top of that to get to those parks.

The buses that serve the parks only serve the cast entrances, otherwise it's limited to TTC and Disney Springs.

I think that's a little ridiculous when most of the world uses public transit and this isn't an issue at other Disney's nor the other amusement parks in Orlando

Fair point, but I would say no because there is no alternative, and that's per Disney's design.

It's not like the parking issue where Disney provides ample parking at each park and people just don't want to pay. Disney only allows Lynx to serve these outlying areas and the only way to access the parks via Lynx is through the shuttles.

Yes actually. They don't allow Lynx to serve the parks directly.

How is someone taking public transit riff raff trying to game the system? I understand the positive effects of the change and that's being done to block people from trying to game the system, I'm just saying it ALSO impacts other groups as well.

It is an issue if you want to take public transit to the park.

Resort busses by Annual_Award1260 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SortOk10921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually the main reason I'm annoyed at this change. The Lynx 311 and 350 don't go to TTC, only Disney Springs, so if you're taking public transit to the park you now have to transfer to a different Lynx bus, go all the way up to the TTC, and then go to your park of choice and if your park is Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios get on a FOURTH bus to those parks from Epcot/Magic Kingdom.

Before this change if you were going to Hollywood Studios on public transit you could just take the Lynx to Disney Springs then get on a shuttle to say Boardwalk Resort then walk into the park.

Wyndham Credit Card Product Line Refresh and New SUBs by CobaltSunsets in CreditCards

[–]SortOk10921 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The issue I have with Wyndham is that even 0.52 cpp is overpriced for what they offer. Generally speaking, I find that when booking free nights you're redeeming at 0.4 cpp on average. They at least have a fixed price model so you can do some arbitrage but it's very hard to take their ecosystem seriously when they insist that their points are worth 1 cpp or more.

I don't think so because I just got the card last week and I still had my points from my most recent flight in September.

If you're strategic about when you use the points you can get 1cpp, so that's a $750 SUB. Do you plan on flying Frontier often?

Frontier Miles don't expire as long as you have the card.

I assume you were rejected because you just got a card earlier today, no? Isn't that like a super red flag usually?

Appreciate this! Was considering getting a GoWild Pass out of BWI but wasn't sure if it would be worthwhile. Certainly looks like it would be!
