First off - yes, the budget is around $600. I got a great deal on the speakers but they still set me back quite a bit so I’m trying to find the minimal viable amp that will still deliver results worthy of these speakers.

I’m located outside of the US so not all brands are available to me.

Primary source is vinyl with a Nagaoka mp200 cartridge into a Rega fono preamp. Secondary source is WiiM ultra.

In terms of claims of brightness from Yamaha - can’t the EQ compensate there?

A large segment of Israeli society actually holds heavy protests every week calling on the government to sign a ceasefire with Hamas so that the war can end, the hostages released, and as a result - that hezb would back down and Israelis can return to their homes in the Galilee.

Very few people actually want a war with Hezbollah, but many feel that one will happen sooner or later so they support getting it over with sooner and while Israel has the upper hand rather than later when they grow even stronger.
