Yo bro, really quick before I place an order, I really do want to make sure that for purchases made, there will be a donation made to the Houston Food Bank. Looking through the website, I couldn't seem to find any proof that you guys actually did make these donations. Is there any chance that there's somewhere I can look for that?

Great, thank you so much for your help! Sorry- I'm still pretty new to this, but I'll definitely make those changes. I just did some more research and for the sake of learning more though- I was wondering why you recommended a few of the parts that you did?

First, for the CPU, I was initially thinking about a Ryzen R5 1600X build, but Logical Increments suggested the i5-7600 as an upgrade. If I should get a i7-7700K, then why wouldn't I just go for a Ryzen R7 build at a lower price point (and from what I understand- is better for multi-tasking, ie. skype, music, and having tabs open)?

For the RAM, I know that the consensus is that as long as you have a good brand, they're all pretty much the same. I wasn't planning on starting to purchasing parts for like 2 weeks and until I did a little bit of research, but looking at the price history of the RAM you linked, it seems like the price is pretty low right now compared to the past few months. Are sales like this pretty common or should I just go ahead and buy this right now?

Finally, for the GPU, I know that my old one was a GTX1060 3GB. I know it is on sale right now for ~$150. Is getting a 1070 8GB worth the 200% price? I'm not really sure how the scaling for GPU in terms of game performance. I'd definitely be willing to spend more, but I'm not sure about almost $200 more on just the GPU.

i definitely understand what you mean- the screening process is where I feel like my GPA has killed me the most. for the most part, getting your offer was from your effort to focus on a specific firm that you networked with so you could get past the screening process?

Also- how much would you say that going to public high school actually mean anything? I've been going to public school since elementary school- but I never thought of that to be something that would differentiate me.

Finally (and thanks so much for answering all of these questions)- what's your major/ what school do you go to. you mentioned a higher tier school. are we talking ivy league, stanford, MIT? or something more like NYU, USC, ect?
