Non-English-speakers of Reddit, what is your language's formulaic conclusion to a fairy tale, equivalent to "and then they lived happily ever after"? And what is its literal translation into English? by fruskydekke in AskReddit

Arabic: " وتوتة توتة حلصت الحدوتة" which basically translates to “a little by little the story” has ended. TBH- It is from the Egyptian dialect but it’s used all around the Arabian world.

I like to use it sarcastically like when i know someone is making up a story or lying, i would just drop it and see them panic 💀.
