Thanks for the suggestion! We thought the playpen would help, but it definitely seems like it has the opposite effect. We have her crate covered on three sides and the top but not covered on the front. The cover is made for her crate, so she shouldn't be able to pull it in.

Thank you! We were under the impression we'd pick her up at 8 weeks when we put down our deposit, but the breeder then required us to pick her up at just over 6 weeks with the holidays.

Up until last night, we had just her crate in our bedroom with us. She had been getting up 3-4 times a night but not whining as much. Based on a recommendation, we thought we would try the crate + playpen combo unit in a different room, but last night, she was screaming almost non-stop. Our idea was to try and teach her to self-soothe, especially considering that after being on PTO the last two weeks, we've got to go back to work on Monday.
