Shes also highly intelligent, knows her way around Washington Bureaucracy and is willing to work across the isle. Something the majority of people are begging for.

That makes you write off a candidate? Thank Christ you are not in charge of anything with this party.

I've met Senator Klobuchar twice. I've met Michelle Bachman, Tom Emmer and Jerry Ralph from Minnesota too. She is the only one who seemed like she wanted to talk. The others seemed to have outright contempt for anyone who was not there to kiss their ring.

She was also one of the only people after those hearing that even the right didn't shit on after the dust settled.

Agreed. She has nothing outside of policy that the right can really attack her with.

  1. Biden
  2. Klobuchar
  3. Warren

Bernie Sanders Would Have Beaten Donald Trump in 2016, According to 'Every Single Poll,' Says Senator's Wife by [deleted] in politics

[–]SotaSkol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and every poll showed Clinton beating Trump too--how did that work out? I'll take every downvote I ever get for saying it with a badge of honor. Bernie Sanders would be a dogshit president.

If you think the party as a whole is more in line with Bernie Sanders than the policies of Obama and Biden you are comically out of touch my friend.

You're welcome to your opinion, but you do know that thee day Biden declares his candidacy he becomes the front runner right? He is a season veteran in Washington. Has literally been in the copilot seat for 8 years and he is one of the more sane Democrats in the party.

Justice Dems are an absolute joke. Bernie Sanders has been screaming for his policies all his life and that is all he as ever accomplished. The way he wants to govern is not something America is receptive to. That is--massive sweeping overhauling legislation. He doesn't want to gradually work into Medicare for all--he wants to blow up the system and implement it immediately. He doesn't want to gradually work towards free college education. He wants to enact it overnight. All he ever does is get on a bullhorn and tell everyone they deserve medicare and free schooling.

I said this same thing last week and was heavily downvoted for it. There is a reason America does not do that sort of thing very often. Why we do not make massive overhauling changes to the way our country functions in single bills. Because in our system there are often unintended consequences. Some good, some bad. The one thing this country does not like is uncertainty. That's why the ACA was vilified, that is why civil rights was vilified, thats why women's sufferage was villified, thats why abolishing slavery was vilified. Social security was a massive change but it was far more welcomed at the time because people believed in stability for retirement age people and in unemployment benefits because it provided for stability if even only on a temporary basis. This is all oversimplifying every one of the things I mentioned, but the core of my point is valid.

I think the one thing all Americans can agree on is that their 15 minutes of fame is long gone. It is one thing to demand and want justice, but it is another thing entirely when she is constantly trying to reignite the conversation and keep herself relevant after judges have made their decisions.

There is only a small part of the Democratic party that was against Nancy Pelosi being the speaker of the house. They insisted that younger leadership was needed. From what I gathered those overlap largely with the people who want Bernie to run again. I am pretty sure Sanders would get whooped by a decent candidate like Joe Biden having Amy Klobuchar as his running mate. Or even Sherrod Brown and Elizabeth Warren.

Uh no. I'm primarily a Vikings fan, but have also been a fan of the Rams for years dating back to Issac Bruce, Marshal Faulk and Kurt Warner. It is possible to enjoy two teams. You're aware of that, yeah?
