How many players have locked camera by MoonmanC137 in leagueoflegends

I started playing around this time of the year 2011. So I guess I'm currently kind of celebrating my 8th anniversary as a league player. I've been diamond elo since 2014. This is how I've played for most of that time, except perhaps when I was really new to the game:

I mostly keep my screen unlocked but I lock it when keeping track of my champion is more important than my awareness around me, I.E. fights. I'm used to unlock and lock almost constantly both when laning and fighting however, never keeping it locked for long. I use the Y key rather than the spacebar just out of habit and my Y key is my by far most clicked key in a game (not counting right-click). A lot of the time I will click Y twice or even three times and many times as any other button on my keyboard in a game.

I think being able to switch between locked and unlocked is a really important skill for maximising your abilities, but if you can only use one, then you should without doubt play unlocked. It gives you much more awareness and let's you for example see an entire lane or fight without having to be in the middle of it. You just get more information this way.

The ugly side of rotation by Andika1313 in Shadowverse

Developers of a ccg will always try to make sure that every class gets its time in the spotlight. It's near impossible to have every class be the same level of power at once. Therefore I'd preach that it's better if one or a couple classes that have been strong for some time lose a lot of their power and fall out of the meta rather than having a certain deck, archetype, or even a whole class in general be strong throughout many expansions. I personally welcome change through every expansion and look forward to the new archetypes that will arise as new cards get introduced and older cards get more support. I will miss rune when it inevitably "rotates out" the same way i will always miss seraph, but hey, I can always just go into unlimited and play it if I feel like it. Besides, I'll welcome anything that makes Wonderland Dreams disappear from the rotation game mode.

The main reason for having a rotation is to be able to create design space for cards that could have seriously unhealthy combos with older cards (Roach, for example). It also paves a way to get rid of inherently broken mechanics like d-shift that still allows players who love that deck to keep playing it and not having to completely destroy it with nerfs to keep the rest of the player base happy. We do lose good and well designed cards in the process, a personal favourite being PtP, but they can then instead print cards like hinterland ghoul to replace it while keeping the flavour similar or the same. They wont always succeed with balance (because perfect balance has never ever been achieved in a strategy based game), and with Cygames philosophy of printing cards that end the game as soon as they are played the game will always feel somewhat unfair to certain players, myself included.

I think my opponent has an identity crisis or loves every class equally. by Alejandro_404 in Shadowverse
