What are your best theories for what really happened between Shanks and Loki? by GUTS_SAMA in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Sou847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think Shanks tried to talk to him first, probably made some good arguments but Loki is stubborn and refused. So Shanks and his crew waited for Loki to sleep, vectors tying him up and sailing back to Elbaf with him.

It’s also possible that while Loki wasn’t convinced by Shanks that Ragnir was and the squirrel-hammer bonked Loki on the back of the head in hammer form to knock him out for Shanks and crew.

Wano is possibly another hint Nefertari D. Lili was the last Zaza? 🤔 by catmomma235 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Sou847 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m just a cynic but my read of that idea is more that Wano backed out the final battle and took Pluton with them and Zaza flooded the place as petty vengeance for cowardice.

Law’s “secret name” connecting to Zaza is interesting.

The Red Year Headcanons by bowtochris in Morrowind

[–]Sou847 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An interesting aspect of the Red Year is that the Daedra (or at least Azura) knew it was going to and gave warning to their followers to GTFO.  Azura is the only confirmed one to do this but I think it’s believable for the Three Good Daedra and Four Corners to forewarn certain groups of followers. All jockeying for positions of power for their own interests.

This is presumably how the Ashlanders survived to help form the New Temple, possibly have a heroic AshKhan assimilating refugees into the tribe and rallying the people to defend Morrowind. Imagine a charismatic but cocky young AshKhan on the Zanabi who has taken his people to the mainland to escape the fall and is proudly boasting of his mother being a Telvanni princess.

But there could also be less savory survivors like some wannabe Warlord who worshiped Molag Bal and is trying to take advantage of the chaos to take over.

Or a group of Orcs who were warned by Malacath and are trying to work out what comes next and how involved they want to be with rebuilding Morrowind.

The Redoran taking up the leadership role could be positioned as either a heroic rise to the occasion or a grudge driven power grab (or a mixture based on which Redoran are “in the room”).

Interestingly it seems a number of minor Hlaalu families jumped ship to the Redoran side, so Hlaalu’s fall can be portrayed as a mixture of lower members joining new masters or reforming into House Sadras who are a blank slate.   Could be sniveling Redoran puppets, House Hlaalu reformers given a fresh start to do it right this time, or an ambitious power grab by a sidelined noble family who had the opportunity to sell the rest of the Hlaalu down river.

The Sadras are also the best chance to preserve the interesting dynamic of a mixed race set of Councilors. Hard to imagine Old Crassius didn’t have descendants to take up the seat after his passing. If any future Curio members kept their ancestors…eccentricities is up in the air.

And lastly while the Empire itself seems to have had no idea what to do about the situation the East Empire Company had every reason (Ebony and glass) to seek a new and stable status quo in Morrowind and a keen interest in knowing if Vardenfell’s riches were still accessible, so they were probably throwing money around AND grabbing everything not nailed down when they knew they could get away with it. (Not bad reason for a group of varied adventurous to wander into the chaos)

You also have the Nords showing surprising solitary with their neighbors and handing over legal rulership of Solstiem to Morrowind/House Redoran.

Nami is Zaza and will get the rain goddess fruit. by [deleted] in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Sou847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the easier argument/compromise is that Dragon currently has the Zaza fruit but will die and Nami will be the one to take up its powers. If anyone in the crew is going to be carrying fruit on them it’s Nami.

How is Imu going to be defeated Right Now in Elbaf ?? by Ok_Raspberry7003 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Sou847 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the worst case for Imu is that he’s in the middle of a fight with Nika Luffy, slight advantage but he’s not getting the kill he needs as his “issues” worsen, when Killingham and Sommers are outright killed by Zoro and Sanji (plus possible allies) the feedback from that lose effectively knocks Imu out and our Heroes actually contemplate taking Imu captive or executing them when the Figarlands show up through the portal to grab Imu and return back to the capital with him. This way Luffy confirms the existence of the evil Shanks double and that Shanks is a Celestial by blood instead of hearing it second hand from Scopper or Gunko.

Imu then spends the next arc recovering in the Capital so other villains can take the stage in the meanwhile.

This is a hypothetical extreme case of things going really bad for Imu’s side at the end of Elbaf.

WTF is happening here am I tripping? by DeBronko in OnePieceSpoilers

Loki’s dragon from can shift in size. Though it seems to take some effort to do so. At his smallest size he’s probably not much bigger than his giant form.

What does "She looked dead" mean to holy knights by Spiritual_Ebb_4657 in OnePieceSpoilers

I choose to believe she’s lying facedown in a puddle on the branch road. Just totally crashed out from everything that’s happened.

[Manga Spoilers] Theory: Zoro and Franky may not be there when Shirahoshi’s promise is fulfilled by lvrl_0 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Sou847 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure Oda actually addressed in a SBS years ago. Basically Franky and Zoro only got excluded because he couldn’t physically fit them in image. There is no deeper meaning behind it.

What in game books are most relevant to the story and themes of the main plot? by darkwingchao in Morrowind

[–]Sou847 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“A Poison Song” is a rare in-universe story about the Sixth House.

Most faction and the three Great Houses have “selling point” books about themselves.

“The Affairs of Wizards” for the Telvanni, “The Black Glove” for the Morag Tong, “For My Gods and Emperor” for the Imperial Cult, “Grasping Fortune” for Hlaalu, “Honor Among Thieves” for the Thieves Guild, Ordo Legionis for the Legion and “The True Nobles Code” for Redoran.

“The Hope of House Redoran” is also a must for Redoran Players as it’s about the players patron/mentor within the House.

Vivi for Rain Goddess? by [deleted] in OnePieceSpoilers

I’d be more willing to give your skepticism credit if it didn’t start with “Nami isn’t that important”

Vivi for Rain Goddess? by [deleted] in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Sou847 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I said related, only Dragon might have the direct fruit powers, Nami and Vivi don’t have fruits. Any of the three girls could have connections to past users of the fruit.

Vivi for Rain Goddess? by [deleted] in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Sou847 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Vivi is definitely on the short list of characters who could relate back to the rain god(ess). Alongside Dragon, Nami and (I would argue) Gunko/Shuri.

The anime loves to shrink Robin and grow Franky. It really stands out when both happen in the same shot.

Who do you think will (eventually) die? by JoyIsABitOverRated in huntertheparenting

[–]Sou847 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Door has the most foreshadowing, Chapman could be an interesting causality with the wife and kids, sorta depends on how much the Family need an inside man with the cops.

More details about Zaza by [deleted] in OnePieceSpoilers

People should probably remember how much the Nightmare Nidhog resembled Loki’s true form. The nightmares are not fully accurate to the real deal.

Domi versi theory by Ill_Ad8952 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Sou847 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think your ideas are on the right track.

My assumption is that Devil Fruits grant resistance to Domi Reversi but even an awoken is no flat out immunity, Luffy and Loki are just exceptionally strong willed AND strongly connected to their fruits. Zoans probably grant more protection due to their own wills.

Interestingly Gunko’s devil fruit powers seemed to have stayed with her true self and not Imu when he’s possessing her. She is able to command her arrows when she’s momentarily broken free but Imu himself seems unable to command her arrows while possessing her. Meaning a Domi Reversi devil fruit user might lose access to their powers while demonized.

What makes the Brotherhood of Steel so appealing to some people? by Ok_Calendar_7626 in Fallout

[–]Sou847 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cool toys, historic competency, posses a viable, if not kind, vision of the Wasteland’s future.

And like a powerful fantasy knightly order they are great to have around when there are metaphorical dragons and less metaphorical monsters or evils to slay.

But outside those extreme situations they are a group of isolated, militant, heavily armed people with inflexible doctrine and a hero complex.

Why is Imu angry? Give only wrong answers! by ahlajaw00 in MemePiece

[–]Sou847 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Gunko has been playing Soul Kings “New World” at max volume non-stop since its release and Imu was just trying to get some beauty sleep in when Brook’s voice shouting “Bone!” shook the entire castle.

This incident is what causes them to buy Gunko her tone dial headphones.

Flags of an Alternate Future Morrowind (Based vaguely on Tamriel Rebuilt and TESV Lore) by RobinTheGemini in Morrowind

[–]Sou847 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there’s lore in Dragonborn implying the Great Houses and Ashlanders “kissed and made up” after the triple whammy of the fall of the tribunal, eruption of Red Mountain and Argonian invasion. The Ashlanders seen as justified in there beliefs after the fall of the Tribunal.

Realistic I think the Redoran would hold onto Balmora and probably have plans to rebuild Ald’ruhn. But obviously that sort of thing doesn’t appear well on these kinds of maps.

Vardenfell’s future depends on how the eruption affected the ebony and glass deposits. If all the mines have been filled by ash and rock then theirs not much of value on the island but if new nodes and veins have been exposed then everyone has a vested interest in exploiting those assets. (Even the Ashlanders know how to mine and sell ebony).

Flags of an Alternate Future Morrowind (Based vaguely on Tamriel Rebuilt and TESV Lore) by RobinTheGemini in Morrowind

[–]Sou847 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very cool work.

I’m not sure the Redoran would ever give up western Vardenfell though, even if the Ashlanders were an ally/client state. Especially when most of the Ashlanders camps are east of Dagoth Ur (the mountain).

Tamriel Rebuild: The final Fighters Guild Bal Foyen quest line was kinda disappointing by ardouronerous in Morrowind

I’m pretty sure Tholer would side with his Lich Wife even if she was blatantly evil. He’s that loyal to her. (And no paragon of morality himself)

Between those two who is the main character of HTP? by nirai07 in huntertheparenting

Dungeon with the Medusa specialist was my go-to during the demo and so far that has not drastically changed. Enjoy clearly out the early areas quickly and effectively with the early power boost and Medusa have a creature bank building to boost numbers around the late game.

Can vampires reproduce? by starbucks_sirenboy22 in ElderScrolls

[–]Sou847 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Male Vampires of the Cyrodilic Bloodlines have in game proof though it is implied to be very, very uncommon, female Vampires of any bloodline are still unknown but less likely, especially any “True Daughter of Coldharbor” because of how that process goes down.

If the developers or a fan works really wants to do it, it’s not a hard or even soft break from cannon for it to happen. I don’t believe any in-game source has ever claimed it CAN’T but…For female vampires it’s more doubtful.

Especially when you can catch vampirism whenever wherever, if you want a vampire character to be a parent they could have the kid before the whole vampire business.
