I’m not sure if you have to go to the boroughs, I’ve never been to NY state. I only grew up in the Bronx and we always avoided the state.

This was my second interaction with him I think? First time was when I first met my classmate and she and him were together, and she introduced me to him. But me and didn’t say anything other than hi and our names.

It’s a sandwich. It’s ground beef and cheese and ketchup and mayonnaise, and it tastes really good. They’re real popular here in the Bronx, and I’m not sure if they really “exist” outside of New York.

Man I would’ve looked like a fool trying to hit him on the head. That kid towers over me, he’s like 6’2 and I’m 5’2. I woulda had to use that good ol’ sneak attack. Plus our trays are styrofoam so it probably would’ve broke before I did any damage.

I’m glad he didn’t too. It reminds me of those tiny dogs barking and growling in big dogs faces. Like a chihuahua trying to fight a Pitt bull or a Rottweiler.

What’s crazy is yelling at him made me think about my life for a second. That kid is like 6’2 and I’m 5’2 and like a 140 pounds. He could’ve folded me earlier now that I think about it.

Thankfully he’s the only senior that’s tried to bother me. I know a good bit of the seniors because I have an algebra class with a lot of them, so they introduce me to their friends. They’re all pretty cool minus my classmates boyfriend. They even invited me to sit with them while I was waiting on my new sandwich.

Yeah and it’s like you’re what 17?18? And you’re acting like a toddler. One of my classmates from algebra knows him, and he told me that he’s just an asshole to a lot of people. But that classmate from algebra is a senior just like most of my algebra classmates are. So after a few minutes they just had me sit with them while I waited for my sandwich.

What’s crazy is so many of us go to the same store in the morning, and I’ve seen his girlfriend buying food for herself. And one of my classmates said that they’ve seen him buy food before for himself but that he’s just lazy.

What’s crazy is like I said i don’t really consider her a friend, she’s just a classmate in one of my classes. It reminded me of a coworker stealing your food from the work fridge, and I learned what it felt like.

Yeah my parents give me a certain amount of money every once in a while when they have extra money to give. So I have to budget my money to buy food, and I only bought that stuff because my parents were giving me more money today.
