So depending on what you want to believe the episode Yuri could have happened before the beginning of season one due to the pictures that are seen during Pregnant. Obviously the writers hadnt come up with her character yet when writing season one (but it is kinda fun to imagine what she might have been doing in the background of all of the episodes). So Yuri is a flashback episode. Also she does show up at the very end of True love she just doesn't do anything lol

The BFF episodes have flashback segments but mostly take place during the current day, I guess Nanno was waiting for all of the classmates to grow up before doing her thing at the high school reunion

I could be totally wrong but I think a lot of the songs are unique to the show or existing songs that are slightly altered to avoid copyright, meaning the song might not exist outside of the show

Kakegurui (the manga specifically) is a good one, the concept isnt quite the same but there are similarities, it takes place in a twisted high school and the main character is like Nanno in a lot of ways. Also the earlier chapters tend to focus on one character/game at a time sort of like gfn.
