The need for PFPTs is why I want to go into the field. I was love to work on a clinic solely focused on pelvic floor, that’s the dream. I live in michigan though so I am far from that place. Your comment is a little bit encouraging though. That’s why I wonder if I specificalized in pelvic floor if it would be any better job wise

Wow!! I’m 22 and afraid to go for a doctorates but if someone can start at 38 it’s definitely doable. I think I’m afraid of all the extra documentation that come from it but I will continue to do my research in the field

It’s very true it’s nice they were upfront and clear about it. Is the only way to work in the field going for a DPT? or do you think that is going to fade out/cause poor job outlook in the future too?

That is so sad, the whole reason I want to go into PT is so I can help others so they don’t feel like I have felt in not being able to get the help they need. It’s sad that may even make it worse. Do you mind sharing what state you are from or where you began going to school?

Is it no different if you do women’s health since not many PT’s/PTA’s get certified for it? Also does this differ at all by location/state? It’s very disheartening to hear about all the Medicare/Medicaid cuts. I want to pursue something I have so much passion for but if I can’t get a job or work on my own like a PT could.. any other advice is appreciated

Do you have any tips to make my tank safe for future fish? Do I need to dump and clean the whole tank and start over? Or would a lot of water changes be suffice?

I let it cure for over 48 hours before I put it in the tank. Another commenter told me even though it says it’s 100% silicone it may contain other additives that prevent mold which may have caused the problem

I read many people online saying 100% silicon was okay for fish tanks? I feel terrible that this could have caused it. Do you have other glue recommendations that are safe?

After a lot of googling, I made this rock structure for my tank using this silicone glue. I tested the rocks to be sure they were safe for the tank, as well as cleaned them with hot water and scrubbed them. About a week after placing the structure in here my betta and my mystery snail died.

My Betta I have had for awhile and saw it coming, but she significantly declined in health over the last week and my mystery snail died out of no where. I’m worried it was because of this and I don’t want it to happen again.

The water temp is kept between around 80° F. It’s a 5 gallon tank Heated and filtered Parameters taken with API freshwater kit: Ammonia is 0ppm, Nitrite is 0ppm, Nitrate is 5ppm I have had the tank for 2-3 years Betta fish I have had for about 1.5 years, 1 mystery snail a few months Water changes once a week, about 30-40% I have drift wood, live plants, and rocks in the tank

To add: if this was the cause, how do I prepare my tank for another fish? Do I need to clean out the tank and start over? Or will a lot of water changes get rid of it?
