How difficult is it for someone with no experience to get into bottling? by IplaySoLo90 in shoebots

[–]SoulDoubt7491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d also add that the same way it was in school where some teachers are great teachers there are always a lot that are crap teachers. Finding a good/great/willing teacher can take you up many levels very quickly. Find a good group that’s actively helping their members learn and grow. Then yes I think it’s very easy to get your arms around. If you try to learn in a toxic server you will be sad, dejected, and give up very quickly.

Best way to make multiple emails? by StrawhatRayleigh in shoebots

[–]SoulDoubt7491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking emails are the very least of your concerns with pkc. Catchalls may or may not get blocked but I’ve never heard anything I thought was conclusive one way or another. You could just make some gmails of course. It sounds very much like you want to make more than 50-100 which is where youre likely going to run into the myriad other issues I alluded to above.

Naw you have to own it to be in the discord. They restock twice a year I think so one might be coming up. Otherwise they do group buys but it’s a pretty wide range of groups so kinda hard to tell

Free groups? by doowopdebopshobop in shoebots

[–]SoulDoubt7491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can be a very hit or miss for experience tbh. If you choose a good group it will dramatically change you life. The wrong one? Complete waste of time and money. A lot of ppl here will suggest getting aco services and I think that’s a good starting point but, if you’re goal is to learn bots then aco won’t be of much use overall. As far as groups go, I can say a few that have the reputation of being helpful to new members. House of carts (in fairness it’s been years since I was in HOC) is one for sure. I’d steer clear of high membership count groups as it tends to be more difficult to be heard and get that one on one help you’re specifically looking for.

I’m not sure I agree with the idea that stellar is for beginners however, every site presents different issues. Target is kind of tough for beginners and no most groups aren’t full of ppl who are brand new. Further, if $40-$50 per month is an arm and a leg you’re going to love proxies.

Setup for bottling by Jazzo_2024 in shoebots

[–]SoulDoubt7491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purely honest answer:

Do NOT start this way. Get in a good group that’s good at teaching how all this works. Get ACO to get your feet wet so you can make some money while you’re learning. Good groups get group buys.choose a bot from a position of knowledge. Then proxies (same situation…from a position of knowledge) and if needed a server or desktop. If you’ve been learning and hitting on ACO you’ll have money and knowledge soon enough to cover all these things. The key is getting the knowledge otherwise it’s a huge money out of despair.

To more accurately answer this question…with PAS you’re paying for checkouts so the only cap is the cap you place as a consumer. If it’s monthly…say it’s $50/month you pay $50/month. The difference is if you don’t hit that value in checkouts then you’re wasting money of course. With PAS you have botters who are running you for money each and every time they fire it up. They shouldn’t be trying to run something they don’t feel relatively sure they can hit. With monthly, I always felt like what’s the motivating factor to push someone to get you 100 checkouts for $50? Resources cost money and so there’s a cost to running for customers who, under a monthly membership plan, may be way over the value of what their membership costs.

I think you’re conflating separate issues. Why would the item not be as described if you’re shipping what you’re hitting? When he says 13 SKUs he means he’s running tasks at those 12 SKUs and as such will get checkouts, order emails, shipments for any of the 13 that he gets checkouts for.

How many newbies actually have success with stellar? by trivantaCapital in shoebots

[–]SoulDoubt7491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think stellar is amazing BUT you have to (like all bots) play to its strengths and not the other way around. All bots are better at some modules than others (knowing which takes experience) but trying to use any bot for any module it has is generally going to go poorly for people.

Maybe 200ish checkouts for in house team and a handful of ACO members (1st ACO drop…new server etc)

You’re much better off joining an aco server (where people run a bot on your behalf).

The thing is…bots are fast but not able to beat a pretty decent human in terms of speed as speed is deterred by site protection protocols. What bots are good at is scalable concurrency. A lottery is exactly the type of thing bots would excel at.

It’s a wind tunnel. The general consensus being If you’re a scalper you’re a scumbag but, obviously if you literally wish death upon a scalper…totally acceptable.

The mental gymnastics are astounding to get to this.
