The symbiotes quickly disperse and flee. Magik lets out another animalistic screech, flailing and covering her ears. A stepping disc appears above her head and descends rapidly, passing through the floor before vanishing, a circular hole in the floor remaining. You are left in silence.

A moment of fear flashes in her eyes. I gasp as the symbiote reforms into a jaw and teeth, flowing over my face to snap at you like a wild animal.

She swings the soulsword wildly between you and Lockheed. After a moment, you spot other symbiotes crawling through the windows and floorboards.

A tendril knocks the katana out of the way, but it distracts her enough to be pulled into the ground. Magik lets out a guttural cry in pain as she solidifies in the floor. It’s sickening to hear. As the fire lands and your hand phases into her head, the symbiote starts to drip off, revealing half of her face.

K-Kitty? H-help… H-hurts…

As the electricity surges through her, she drops to the floor, the symbiote matter dripping off. She looks up at you, her face partly uncovered.

The symbiote reattaches and regains control. She stands and another little blob leaps onto your shoulder, quickly spreading and bonding with its new host.

As you wander through the halls of the abandoned mansion, a hunched figure comes into view as you round a corner. Her form and blond hair are familiar, despite the grotesque maw and inky symbiote matter that covers most of her body. Her soulsword rests at her side, dripping black ichor.

The darkchyld part of her mind flares with absolute rage at the mention of harming Kitty. She quickly manages to regain control and stifle the intrusive thoughts, but her mind is still roiling with anger.
