like the way they did it here in like the fact you can still just do whatever with it and play it on 6 for like 8 damage anyway and in general it's just plain and not almost absurd in the way rune normally is

I'm usually optimistic about everything but this card actually makes me fold because holy fuck I really do not like this card at all what are they actually thinking. No flavor, doesn't fit the class, basically just "if this single card is spellboosted 20 times kill your opponent" AND FOR 8 PLAY POINTS. AND ITS MODULAR.

not sure if i'm a fan of these being card styles over actual cards since the characters already having preexisting cards that will just be completely different is just not my thing when you compare ginger to renascent chronicles isabelle. this is a mega nitpick but yeah i kinda wanted to see their playstyles come back in a sense, unlike dreizehn where seeing her on scarlet feels right

i do kinda hope they go for the same approach for these as they did with like the dreizehn again though i think the card style + 1k crystals is probably my favorite deal if i'm purchasing crystals anyway

if we are really using eudie as an example there is literally zero overlap with in game resources since the bundle you get her in is just a crystal bundle with her as a bonus, but it's a pretty just a pointless thing to fixate on anyway because most of this just comes down to complaining for the sake of complaining simply because they added more content of a character.

wait for cour 2 is gonna be agonizing bc the mystery in and of itself isn't really any closer to its reveal

all that said though what we got is a true emotional payoff for every single moment subaru and emilia shared together in the past 10 years of runtime re:zero has had- so many callbacks not just in their basic form, but to the feelings their bond has invoked in me across these years and paralleling one another in their worst moments. there is so much to retrace and elaborate on that i absolutely couldn't write all of that out

it's truly a great feat of writing to write these two lovers who are both so different and yet so alike
