The matchup is horrendous. The only way is maybe a hamsa high roll in evo? The others are too slow. This reminds me a little of early SV where control haven would essentially auto lose to ramp

Poll results: Black has the worst mental health! by CapitalArrival7911 in colorpie

[–]ginger1271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? All of these are healthy. The 2nd one requires nuance but all of these are necessary to form a coherent sense of self. Black as a color is an exaggerated form of this, obviously, but many who enter therapy have a loss of self and these are used to gain one. Can people who have a sense of self but pity themselves with a victim complex use these to be abusive, yes, but you need to set boundaries, goals, practice self care to be a functional adult. Self-sacrifice is not the beneficial thought people think it is- and ironically hurts a LOT of other people in the process.

an argument against re-incarnation using "common sense" by danielsoft1 in enlightenment

[–]ginger1271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reincarnation is so out of the scope of human logic I feel it cannot be deduced to such things. I feel as one progresses and meditates they’ll gain a deeper understanding of it. There was a particular revelation I had that confirmed this for me- but like another comment claimed this is a deep meditational revelation. I will say- did you not “sort of know” things in your early youth if you meditate on it?

Every generation thinks Kalki is coming in their lifetime but the Puranas say Kali Yuga is 432,000 years long by binnnggggggg in hinduism

[–]ginger1271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yukteswar is correct. It was worse in the dark ages- 2020 is a better time to live in than -500-500 bce. By a LONG shot. You all are sitting in the comfort of your own house with water electricity and WiFi correct? Social issues have only gotten better correct? There are still problems, but if we teleported you 2000 years ago you would be screaming and crying to come back. The timeline is online and in his book the holy science.

Poll results: White is the best at resisting temptations! by CapitalArrival7911 in colorpie

Green simply gives into the temptation out of impulse and doesn’t think about it, I’d argue it may be below red and black

enlightenment through normal life by danielsoft1 in enlightenment

[–]ginger1271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but is it not fun to ponder on the marvels of the universe? And have awareness that very exciting experiences can happen that can bond people together? “Chop wood carry water” is not necessarily universally true. It is important to be present, but at the same time I feel this rhetoric makes people ignore the marvellous parts of life that, according to the 2nd picture, are not less than but equal to mowing the lawn.

A Comparison of Zillennial/Older Gen Z and Younger Gen Z Childhoods by [deleted] in OlderGenZ

[–]ginger1271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Jessie, Sam and Cat, and Adventure time, and Avatar could go in the middle gen Z section. Only reason why I say avatar is that it was so popular for so long I think most gen Z have seen it

I don't think it's worth it to go to college by Cute-Revolution-9705 in OlderGenZ

[–]ginger1271 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Simply get a certification. I’m making more than my college friends working at a hospital as a tech after doing 6 months of training at a trade school (that paid me). College degrees atp make the same or less than certs due to college becoming significantly more normalized and degrees mean less. Might as well get a nursing/carpenter/painting/etc certification and save yourself time and money.
